Just when I thought the terrible three's were left behind.....

Just when I thought the terrible threes were left behind....
I found out, you can still be terrible when you are four.

We have a large doll that is the size of a small toddler. It was my Mom's when she was a little girl. And it is large, posable, and looks like a little girl rather than a baby.

Anyways, she is a favorite with my kids and she has been lying around the house naked for the last two days. I had her dressed in Ainsley's keepsake Christmas dress, sweater and bonnet.
WHAT WAS I THINKING! My kids take care of their toys really well, and don't mess them up, so I guess I thought I was safe.

I asked Hunter to go and get the clothes so I could redress her. He told me," Uh, Mommy, I kinda had a big accident with the clothes."

That should have been my first clue. I told him to bring me the clothes (which strangely I had not seen lying around the last two days). I don't know where he had them stashed, but he brought them to me with them hidden behind his back. Kuddos to my son, he never lies, so he straight up told me, "Mommy, I cut them off."

Yep, they were ruined. The dress he had cut in a jagged cut top to bottom to get off, and the sweater had the buttons cut off. The bonnet had huge jagged holes in the head and the strings cut off. When I saw the bonnet, I immediately thought of the doll's hair. Yep, there is a big gouge out of her hair. Now her hair was pretty aweful anyways, and I had been meaning to buy a wig for it, so now I guess I have to. Sorry Mom, about your old doll....

Sorry Ainsley about your keepsake dress. We have pictures at least of you in it........
