And so it Begins...

Ainsley started dance class in September. I love watching these little girls try and get their positions just right as they follow their teacher, Miss Veronica. Ainsley on the end is the only blond haired, blue eyed kid in the bunch and the skinniest one to boot. These girls are all just precious to watch.
Ainsley listens very attentively for the whole hour and just adores going. She is a big time participant and tries to do everything just so. They also teach tap during the hour lesson. I didn't get a picture of that though because Tessa had a major meltdown and we went outside for most of the lesson. These pictures aren't the best quality because I had to take them through a one-way window.
I absolutely love watching little ballerina's in their cute awkwardness as they learn to dance do the steps and positions. This studio teaches them the french words and positions and steps already (most don't at this age I've found), but does it with cute songs and activities. The stricter lessons are good for my "out-to-lunch" daughter who could use some structure.
Then she came home and showed me her moves from class. The positions, the twirls, the little songs. She's in love with this thing called "dance".
We also cut her hair this week into a little pixie bob again. It looks so much thicker and healthier and she likes it because it doesn't tangle. I like it because most of the day she doesn't look like a little orphan that got dragged in off the street anymore. This little girl is getting some refinement lately.

I'm gunna be honest. She could use it.

  1. Oh my goodness, this is precious! I love her haircut!

  2. So sweet! Thanks for sharing her love of dance!
